RainStar was founded out of a desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others. We have a passion for our vision of teaching excellence in the field of massage and bodywork and bringing the benefits of this profession to public awareness. Since 1994, RainStar has been providing high quality education and training. Our graduates enjoy successful and rewarding careers as health care practitioners in Therapeutic Massage.
As modern society rediscovers the benefits of ancient therapies like massage people are increasingly seeking complementary modalities for relief from stress, physical pain and dysfunction. Today’s research validates that these modalities are viable and effective means in benefiting physical and mental health. In today’s stressful environment, the health of people of all ages and occupations is enhanced by a holistic approach to medicine. Complementary and alternative medicine addresses the body as a whole to access the deeper levels of healing. The focus is on the cause rather than the symptom.

Our purpose is to elevate the stature of the therapeutic massage and body work professional to the level of mainstream acceptance as is that of traditional health care practitioners by providing excellence in the education and training of the art, science, and business of therapeutic massage in order to enhance the quality of life for students and those they touch.Accreditation and Authorizations
RainStar College of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). ABHES is recognized by the United States Secretary of Education for the accreditation of private, postsecondary institutions in the United States offering predominantly allied health education programs and the programmatic accreditation of medical assistant, medical laboratory technician and surgical technology programs leading to a certificate, diploma, Associate of Applied Science, Associate of Occupational Science, or academic associate degrees and programs offered by distance delivery.
ABHES is the only agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as an institutional and specialized accreditor focusing on health care education and training.
The academic programs of RainStar College of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork have been designed to offer the following diplomas: An Associate of Applied Science Degree, a Diploma Program, 1,000 Hours, and a Certificate Program, 750 Hours. The curriculum at RainStar College of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork meets the didactic and clinical requirements of the Arizona State Board for Private Post Secondary Education. RainStar is approved for the training of veterans and other eligible persons under United States Code Title 38 by the Arizona Department of Veterans' Services, Office of Veterans' Education, also known as the State Approving Agency. Additional Financial Aid approvals were received from Voc-Rehab and JTPA for students who qualify for this type of funding and is authorized by the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services to process I-20 Application Form, enabling prospective international students to apply for F-I Student Visas. RainStar College is an approved provider for the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and a founding member of the Council of Massage Therapy Educators (CMTE) in Arizona
